PWA (Progressive Web Apps) is an alternative to traditional applications, offering almost the same features without taking up so much space. Google is constantly working to improve the experience that these apps offer through Chrome across all platforms and aims to reach the ultimate, that is, to provide exactly the same capabilities as regular applications.
As part of this effort the company improved the installation screen. Compared to the previous framework, the new one is much more like the Play Store entries, it offers a brief description, a few screenshots, and of course the installation button.
Twitter is the first company to take advantage of the features of the new framework and gradually more companies are expected to follow.
