Chinese companies Huawei, CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Company, China’s leading fuel cell manufacturer) and Changan Automobile (one of the three leaders in the Chinese car market) have created the first electric car, Avatr E11.
The development of the novelty was carried out at the joint venture Avita Technology. The first Avatr E11 (Avita 11) is a smart car capable of accelerating to 100 km / h in just 4 seconds. The autonomous travel radius on a single battery charge will be over 700 km.
The AVATR E11 electric SUV gets a futuristic minimalist design with smooth aerodynamic contours typical of sports cars. The Avatr E11 has a case length of 4867 mm.
The vehicle receives a recognizable closed-type front air intake grille with two side-mounted headlights. The door handles have a structure hidden in the body. The engine and battery were developed by CATL, and the rest of the high-tech “stuffing” was created by Huawei engineers.
Serial production of the Avatr E11 will begin in the second quarter of 2022, and the model will enter the retail market in the third quarter of next year. In China, Avatr E11 will cost about 47 thousand dollars (300 thousand yuan).
