Sharp, the famous Japanese electronics manufacturer, is also entering the market for smartphones. The company’s devices are famous for having a Qualcomm 800 chipset and, of course, a wonderful display.
Now Sharp is ready to release a new flagship smartphone called the Aquos R6. It will be the successor to the earlier Aquos R5G model. “Leaked” renderings of the new device appeared on the web shortly before the debut on May 10.
The renderings of the device come from @ nokishita_c . According to him, Aquos R6 may be the result of cooperation with Leica. “Co-designed with Leica” is mostly seen on Huawei devices, but perhaps now such inscriptions will parade on Sharp smartphones as well.
Analysts are in no hurry to evaluate , but commented that if the Japanese company (which by the way is under the control of Taiwanese Foxconn ) cooperates with Leica to improve its camera, this will be “good news for Sharp.”
The Aquos R6 looks unusual. It features a bold design, with a huge camera module in the center. It appears to have two camera sensors and an LED flash. One of the sensors is huge.
The phone will use a perforation for the selfie camera – at least according to what is seen on the renderings. Overall, the device looks thick. So far there is no information what the price of the model will be.
