Advanced Kirin 9000 processor will give power to the new Huawei Mate 40
This month’s expected flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 40 will probably be the first model of the Chinese company, which will be able to run the Harmony OS 2.0 operating system. The manufacturer is already “heating up” the announcement of the Mate 40 with an advertisement for the new Kirin 9000 processor.
On an advertising poster Huawei is showing earlier generations of its Kirin chip – Kirin 950, Kirin 960, Kirin 970, Kirin 980 and Kirin 990 5G versions. The number 9 also sneaks into the image, which according to Huawei Central is a sign that the company’s new smartphone will use an advanced Kirin 9000 processor.

With similar advertisement Huawei has provoked the interest of the brand’s fans in the upcoming flagship line of smartphones. Earlier, sources in the Chinese social media Weibo reported that the global premiere of Mate 40 will take place on October 15. The presentation of the smartphone in China is expected a week later – on October 22.
