The team of Google Photo , on Twitter , announced that it has officially released the new feature “Real Tone” . It is a series of filters which, by combining the ‘general lighting with skin tone, they would be able to make a photo more accurate.

There are four filters available to date: Playa, Honey, Isla and Desert. Google has also ensured that it works on all skin tones. The function, based on the Monk Skin Tone Scale – a open source library first introduced on the Pixel 6 series – is being released for Android and iOS users.

The company, through “Real Tone” , hopes to make the photos taken by the phone much more accurate and corresponding to reality.
