XPG, the gaming brand of Adata launches new G ammix S50 Lite PCIeGen4x4 M.2 2280 SSD in response to the ever-increasing volume of processed data with the entry of 5G communications.

The PCIe Gen4 interface is a critical upgrade that will take storage devices to the next level. S50 Lite expands the Gammix S50 series with a new option for users who want to take advantage of PCIe4.0.

The Gammix S50 Lite SSD is powered by a SMI SM2267 PCIe Gen4 controller from Silicon Motion. This combination provides an improved user experience and high performance.

With SMI SM2267 controller, new PCIe Gen4 interface and support for NVMe 1.4, S50 Lite can achieve lasting read / write performance up to 3900/3200 MB / s. In addition, the drive supports read and write with up to 490K / 540K IOPS.

What’s more, thanks to the SM2267 controller and optimized thermal design, the S50 Lite stays up to 20% cooler. In combination with Dynamic SLC Caching and Host Memory Buffer, the S50 Lite offers better performance than SATA SSDs, while also being compatible with PCIe 3.0.

S50 Lite supports LDPC technology for error editing, E2E data protection, RAID and 256-bit AES encryption to ensure data security and integrity.

All components of the S50 Lite have undergone thorough screening, testing and certification. The device will be available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, accompanied by a 5-year warranty.
