The creators of The Riftbreaker shared the plans for the development of the game

Szczecin studio Exor published a post-release plan for its strategic survivalist The Riftbreaker . Over the next few months, players will have tons of free content, paid add-ons and custom modding tools.

By the end of the year, players will be able to create their own Rift maps, missions and more. At the same time, the developers will simplify the installation, configuration and organization of custom modifications.

The first half of 2022 will be devoted to expanding the world. The developers are creating a new biome with unique wildlife, special weather phenomena, collectibles, secrets, weapons, skills and improvements. The biome itself will be added for free, but you will have to buy a story campaign dedicated to it.

By the end of 2022, the studio hopes to complete work on the multiplayer. For starters, the online co-op is waiting for us, and this update will also be free.

The Riftbreaker was released in October, and a free demo is also available on Steam.
