VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing) aircraft have become the most popular version of air taxi implementation. But this technology is also quite suitable for conventional consumer drones. Hong Kong-based startup HEQ is offering its variant of the Swan Voyageur VTOL drone, available now on Kickstarter for $1,300.Swan Voyageur

Being equipped with four main engines and tail, it takes off and lands like a helicopter. Having gained the required altitude, it switches to horizontal flight mode using fixed wings – but at a higher speed than a conventional quadcopter. Swan Voyageur
