Huawei has announced the flagship series of smartphones Huawei P50

During the big presentation of Huawei, at which the proprietary operating system Harmony OS 2.0, the updated Huawei MatePad tablets and the new line of smart watches Huawei Watch 3 were presented, the developers of the Chinese company showed a short 45-second video advertising the future smartphone of the Huawei P50 series .

The video demonstrates in slow motion the unique camera base of the Huawei P50 Pro, which viewers can see in detail from different angles. At the end, you can see a full image of the unusual block of the main cameras of the Huawei P50 series.

The presented advertisement confirmed numerous rumors about the unusual module of the main camera Huawei P50, which is a massive oval block with two round sections … In the circles there are sensors: in the upper one there are three optical sensors, and in the lower one there is a fourth sensor and a flash. In the side of the oval module, in the center, there is another flash.

During the presentation of the video, the participation in the development of the camera unit of the German company Leica, which has been creating unique optical devices for over a hundred years, was also especially noted.

According to insiders, the main module of the Huawei P50 camera phone will receive the world’s first inch sensor for Sony IMX800 mobile systems. Also, the device will be equipped with a telephoto periscope module with 5x optical zoom and support for equivalent focal length (EFR) in the range from 18 to 125 mm.

According to the developers, the Huawei P50 camera phone will be the first smartphone to come with Harmony OS 2.0 pre-installed. Officially, the technical parameters and characteristics of the camera phone have not yet been reported. There is also no information about the timing of the Huawei P50’s release to the market, which, according to the head of Huawei, is due to “known reasons”, meaning the company’s continuing problems with the sanctions imposed by the US government.
